I'm not writing this to be egotistical and assume you want to know about me, but there have been some incidents in the past which I would like to be made aware of, because there are also rumors, or at least a rumor, that I am a thief. This rumor about me being a thief is untrue and insulting and if I tell you my past you will get an understanding as to why I’ve been labeled one. If you are uninterested in that please at least jump to the () paragraph and see my suggestion for what to do if you ever think I actually stole something.
Anyways, here is my story. I played wurm for a week on GV and decided that me and my friend (whom the wild server has rendered me too paranoid to disclose the name of) moved to Wild server. Well he actually got there about a week before me I stayed behind an additional week sprucing up my house on GV (which I currently have a free alt watching over) but my friend told me I couldn’t take anything with me through the portal (which is why he left me with allot of stuff including the writ) now… I misunderstood this to mean I couldn’t bring ANYTHING, at ALL. So I departed with nothing at all on me. So — I showed up to wild server pretty much naked except we can’t take off our clothes which is unfortunate cause I would really enjoy streaking through the woods like a madman someday. And my friend wasn’t on (much as he hasn’t been on for the last week or so) sooo… I wandered around voicing my need for tools and a guy named Coolecola messaged me and guided me to HOM where he gave me some very basic tools (but still no steel and flint) and the elder of HOM wasn’t on so I was left to wander on my way. Then, I made my first mistake.
I had no knowledge of deeds or what they looked like or anything like that as HOM and GC were the only cities I had seen. Well I thought I was in the middle of nowhere but it turns out I was right next to a deed build into the side of a cliff. Out side of it was a large cart, and 2 horses, the thing is one of them was dead. So I decided it would be a wise idea to loot this dead horse, and butcher it, which I did. And I took the horse shoe and leather saddle and its various butchered parts because I figured if I didn’t someone else would. …. Then I got even more lost, this time in a forest. And I got killed by a freaking bear. So i… wander around for a while looking for my corpse and eventually give up out of frustration. Then a day later Coolecola asks me if I killed someone’s horse and looted it. and I was like “What? No I didn’t kill a horse but I did loot a dead one I found in the middle of nowhere.” And he was like that that horse belongs to this guy. So I talked to this guy (name omitted) and explained it was a noob mistake and I would try again to retrieve my body and bring back the stuff I took. …well... good news is I did find my body, and I did get my shite back including the stuff I noobstakenly stole, the bad news is I did it while once again lost, and this lead to me trying to find my way back but getting only EVEN MORE lost…. Then... I was chased down by a freaking alligator and killed. This time I asked for assisstence. But even with about 4 people searching for 2 hours straight, we weren’t able to locate the body. And I almost died again. So… I apologized, told him I would make it up to him, but there’s no way in hell I would be able to find this damn corpse.
Then my friend finally came online and told me about this neat awesome place called eden, and they took me in got me reequipped and eventually I was able to sell some tar in GC for some steel and flint. One day I mentioned I new coolecola, because coolecola told me he used to live in eden and was accused of stealing and KOS’ed. He wanted to give me his old house. So I talked to the people in charge, naio, mardak, and whoever else happened to be around and they said I could. But I decided against it cause it had a sordid past and they hated coolecola. So I started working on my own little place. Weeks went by. Things seemed good.
It was about this time I made my second mistake. I made a joke in Kchat and found out people don’t have a sense of humor. There was this girl named Alyessa and I asked if she had boobs and she said “does it matter?” and I jokingly said “well, yea, I cant touch them if you don’t have any.” And the whole kchat went ape shit on me like I just called their mom a whore or something. And I mistakenly tried to diffuse the situation with more humor. That only made them more angry next thing I know I have a bout 5 people yelling at me and asking me where I am, including alyesska. And I tried to apologize of course but she wasn’t having it, she had that righteous rage going on. I said “jesus leave me the fuck alone you are acting like I said I would rape your god or something.” And she tells me “I am their god you idiot!” … so I’m like… wow.. “ok I’m not gonna waste my time trying to reason with someone whose obviously on a power trip, this conversation is over” but it wasn’t over she rambled on for a while getting in the last word consisting of saying that I was on the power trip. Even though she is the one that just proclaimed herself a god to me… in-fucking-sanity. So I publically apologize ANYWAYS in kchat saying it was a joke and we obviously have different ideas of humor and all they said is I should have said that originally even though I DID say that originally. So yea.. a bunch of people hate me because they cant take a fucking joke. Now I hear that that Alyessa person has been labeled a traitor and because of that she actually did become a traitor and moved to JK. Guess she wasn’t as god like as she wanted to believe, how fast they turn on their own.
So that happened, and pissed me off for a while but I just... buried it, pretended it never happened and stayed the hell out of kchat. And more weeks went by. Then one day while im leveling out the spot I have planned to build my future house, this guy Rozare shows up in village and I shoot the shit with everyone like usual, and he randomly asks me where I am after I mentioned building a house so I figured he was just curios to see the place. So I tell him and I go afk to do something. I come back and im dead, and I check combat log and he killed me.
So I’m pissed off and I keep trying to calmly ask him why he did it, and he wont tell me shit he just said “Find another deed” and I’m asking wtf did I do I don’t even get a reason? And hes like “no find another deed.” So im like. What about my stuff? I have nothing! Wtf did I do?! And he wont answer so I call hima power tripping asshole and wander around for a while in GC. Then I start to starve so I decide ill log off for the day.
I didn’t log on for another week. I was tired of dealing with assholes on power trips. It was becoming a reoccurring theme, and I just wondered if a game was worth all that bullshit. But my friend wrote me an email saying he didn’t care if im a bastard everyone hates or not, he wants me to come back online. So I did. Ironically ive yet to see him online since. I tell coolecola what happened and he tries to convince me to leave and go to jk. I honestly thought about it, seeing how everyone was being a douche but .. I didn’t feel like dealing with it. so I just asked around for some tools and Hank our neighbor helped me out as did…. Gdammit I forgot his name. his alt is Nuggi. While they helped me out I told them my story and they asked naio about it and he labeled me a thief. I never stole anyfreaking thing, I had nothing when I even showed up to eden, everything I had they had given to me. If I knew they were going to use that to call me a theif whenever it suited them which judging by coolecola is becoming a reoccurring theme, then I wouldn’t have ever joined. Everyone tells me coolecola is a theif, but more than one person have claimed they were there when they stormed into his mine and house and found the stolen stuff. And I believed them till this shit happened now I’m really wondering if he did steal. All he ever did for me was give me free tools when I was in need so I have no reason to judge him as a thief. And they still btw have not told me what I supposedly stole. So my theory is they didn’t like that I was friends with coolecola and just disposed of me by labeling me a thief. I even asked rozare after he killed me why he didn’t just ask me to leave, but he wouldn’t answer. The reason they cant tell me what I stole, is because I didn’t steal so they don’t have a reason. This is all petty and stupid of course and I could easily ignore that except that I’ve been PUBLICALLY accused of stealing by them. That’s soiling a reputation I’m already trying to nurse back to health, and that is just unacceptable. It’s also why you are forced to hear this long freaking explanation of what exactly I HAVE and HAVE NOT done wrong. He has no proof, no screen shot, all we have is the word from people that have proven themselves cowardly and dishonorable, that I am a thief. They broke the cardinal rule of “SS or it didn’t happen”
So then I move into that cave under the road just south of gc and I improved that place while staying and now I’m with you all after telling all this to Mindfolded and him suggesting I join up with you. So here I am. Now the important part.
You weren’t there, all I have are chat logs to prove my innocence, and you cannot be expected to believe me. IF you ever get the notion that I have been stealing, all I ask is that you treat me like another human fucking being and talk to me before randomly killing me. I will let you into my house, while you guard me outside, I will unlock all my chests and let you go through them. I will take a time stamped screen shot of my fully expanded inventory and body window and post it publicly on the forum. I will do everything humanly possible to prove beyond a doubt I have stolen nothing from you, if you will just allow me the chance. I hope that will never come up but this kill and kick thing solves no problems it only makes things worse for all parties involved. I don’t steal. I don’t even intentionally cause any sort of harm. I take pleasure from actually giving something and doing something productive. So if we ever have a problem please just do me the favor of simply talking to me about it first.
So now that that’s all out of the way, I apologize for the length of the post. I also haven’t been online a lot because I’ve dedicated my life to completing my short stories before 2012 (just in case) and on top of that I have college. When I do get on it’s usually around 3 am Pacific time. I was just on and no one else was so that’s pretty normal actually. Anyways I just wanted to clear this all up so you wouldn’t have to hear it from someone else.
